This is a 2 week course organized for the Master‘s students at the Oceanologic observatory of Villefranche-sur-Mer. This course is mandatory for the students enrolled in the 1st year of the Master of Integrative Biology, training path in Biology and Marine Bioresources (BBMA) while it is optional for the students enrolled in the Master of Molecular and Cellular Biology (BMC). This course is based on several workshops presenting the marine organisms exploited by the research teams of the laboratory (LBDV). Based on these workshops, the students learn how to use those organisms during practical sessions, covering topics from fundamental questions of Developmental Biology to applied Toxicology.
